Packaging Design
From 2016 to 2019, we worked on product branding and packaging design for the Japanese tableware brand KINTO.
The challenge was to express the concept of every product through simple and minimalistic design while instilling each one with a distinctive identity.
DRIP BAG from KINTO makes single-origin coffee accessible for everyone. Its packaging wishes people a fresh start to every morning.
By combining lettering inspired by vintage food labels with a sleek colour palette, the design gives a friendly yet sophisticated impression of the specialist coffee.
LEAVES TO TEA is a teaware collection by KINTO which invites users to appreciate the roots of different tea cultures while bringing a fresh perspective and sensation to the everyday tea experience.
The lettering was created with thin rectangles and delicate curves to express both the traditional and modern characteristics of the product. The large letter spacing leaves room for each user to reinterpret their tea experience, reflecting the product’s concept.
SACCO is a single-flower vase with a playful, organic form, ideal for pairing with various other decorations.
The packaging design is inspired by a perfume box, inviting the user to imagine the presence of flowers in their life. The rounded and elegant vase shape is echoed in the typography.
DAY OFF TUMBLER is botlle for relaxing or active days off. With a comfortable, rounded handle, it’s perfect for carrying around on walks or day trips.
The logotype is designed to match the modern, understated mood of the product, while the packaging design emphasises the elegant shape of the product.
