Our Mission
Tomomi Maezawa founded her own studio in 2015. She grew up in Japan and has lived and worked in Italy, the UK and Germany for over ten years. Currently, she is based in Tochigi, Japan.
From small start-ups to international companies, she’s been fortunate to encounter unique and exciting clients in Europe, Asia and North America.
These experiences made her realise that the idea of ‘good design’ isn’t universal but deeply rooted in the values of each culture. A design is only successful when it represents the right meaning for the target audience.
She also believes that a multicultural society is a rich one, and design can help to support this. Now, her mission is to spread the value of multiculturalism through design.
